We have been in business since March of 1995 and are actively involved in Manufacturing, Import and Retail Sales. All products are tested for reliability prior to shipping, and we search the globe for unique and interesting products. We are a shipping warehouse only.

Most orders are shipped within 24 - 48 hours and will arrive within a few days. Sorry, but we can not guarantee arrival dates for items shipped by regular ground shipping, but we can ship items as a next day or two day shipment, which is guaranteed by UPS. All Next day and 2 day shipments received before 1 p.m. EST will be shipped the same day. Shipping mishaps are beyond our control and as such, we cannot be responsible for delayed shipments. Shipments are sometimes divided into two or more boxes and may arrive on seperate days (sometimes from seperate warehouse locations). We will do everything in our power to assure that your order is received quickly! If you have a deadline, please let us know so that we may work with you to meet your deadline.

Shipping
All Products in the USA and Canada are shipped via UPS unless otherwise specified. Canadian shipping is approx. twice the cost of shipping to the USA, and usually takes about twice as long to get there.
Additional shipping will be charged for heavier and bulkier items, such as large machines, cases, Large mirror balls and Trussing (Regular light stands and smaller trussing do not fall into this category). Large Trussing and most Crank Lifts must be shipped by common carrier (truck). Shipping is approximately 12% for these items. Pyrotechnics cost more to ship, which helps defray the high cost of insurance.

We will always process and ship your order as quickly as possible and most items will be at your door within 2 to 7 business days. We are not responsible for shipping delays once the item is in the hands of the shipper.
Next Day Air is available in the continental United States for approx. 4-5 times the normal ground rate (depending on your location).
2nd Day Air: is available in the continental United States for approx. 2-3 times the normal ground rate (depending on your location).
Pyrotechnic Shipping
Pyro Express - Hazardous Materials Fees
There is NO hazardous charge for general pyrotechnical supplies (flash paper, flash cotton, powders, flash pots etc.). All explosive materials are shipped through our new Pyro Express program. All in-stock shipments can be shipped for a hazmat shipping fee of $49 per shipment. This charge covers your entire shipment regardless of size or quantity up to a 4 foot container. We can not ship pyrotechnics out of the continental USA.
International Shipping
All customers outside USA and Canada
Please note that orders processed as "Next Day" or "Two Day" can not be shipped that way outside the USA. If you choose that option, they will be shipped as an expedited package, which is much faster then standard shipping. "Two Day" will translate as an expedited shipment, whereas "Next Day" will translate as a higher level of expedited shipping.
International Customers must pay via wire transfer for orders over $300, contact us via email for routing information. Wire transfers are easy to do - simply contact your bank and have them transfer the money to our account. We apologize if this causes any difficulty.
International orders can be shipped via the post office and are charged as follows:
Parcel Post (6-8 weeks): Email for total, but typically starts at $60 and goes up from there.
Express (3 - 10 Days): Orders may be shipped expidited for approx. $160 and up. Larger cartons ( about 30 lbs.) will cost about $400 to ship this way. Items shipped this way will usually arrive within 5 business days.
Pyrotechnics: We can not ship any pyrotechnics outside of the continental USA.
Large Orders: International customers purchasing heavier orders (100 lbs or heavier) might consider contracting with a freight forwarder. They can ship anywhere. South American customers are encouraged to find a freight forwarder from Miami, Florida.
All International orders take longer to process, as items must be sent to a central receiving warehouse and shipped from there.
Warranty
StarLight.com stands behind every product sold. These products are guaranteed to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of at least 90 days - more when stated. Some products are warranted for periods up to a lifetime. The only exception is bulbs, which are warranteed for 24 hours. All bulbs are carefully tested and packaged.
Returns
If you have received a defective product, please accept our apology. Unlike other companies, we physically inspect and test most items before shipping, but they are occasionally damaged in transit. We will do everything we can to remedy your situation quickly. If an item is received that has been damaged in transit, let us know right away so that we file an insurance claim with our carrier. As soon as the claim is settled, we will ship you a new item or reimburse you for the damaged item at your discretion.
To return a defective item, contact us with details and use your invoice number as Return Authorization Number. Return will be shipped to same address that it was shipped from. As soon as we receive the item we will repair or replace the item and return it directly to you. Defective items will be replaced at no cost within the warrantee period. Sorry, but we cannot replace a defective product until we have received it at one of our repair centers - no exceptions.
Important: Insure your package, and be sure to return by only by UPS or FedEx. We have trouble receiving returns from the Post Office because they run at 8 a.m. and we do not open until 10 a.m. The Post Office and DHL will typically return an item to you rather than attempt delivery during regular business hours, or simply leave it unsecured in front of the building (we are in an non-secure downtown location).
Products returned for credit have a minimum 20% restock fee (minimum $20) because all items need to go through a rigorous testing and re-packaging process. This is more difficult for the type of electronic good that we sell. Fees may be higher depending on condition of item, type of item and condition of original packing materials. Non-defective products cannot be returned after 30 days. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Some items may be non-returnable.
Pyrotechnics, Fluids, Paints, Gobos and Bulbs are non-returnable. International customers (outside the USA) must return warranted items at their own expense, as well as pay for return shipping.
Payment
Customers have several payment options available. Credit cards, Money Orders or Checks are all acceptable methods of payments. Money Orders and checks may be mailed to our central office. Checks must be held 4- 6 weeks for processing, but all other orders will be processed immediately. All orders must be paid for before they can leave our warehouse.
Purchase Orders
Unfortunately, we can not ship COD or general Purchase Order's. All orders must be paid in full before leaving our warehouse. We have had trouble collecting payments for purchase orders, so we have been forced to discontinue this program.

For customer convenience, most items are located in Kentucky and shipped from there. Select pyrotechnic items may be shipped from Alabama.
