A color gel sheet is a thin, transparent film that goes into the gel frame of your stage light. They are made from a special heat resistant material. The closer the gel frame is situated to your actual bulb, the shorter the life of your gel. Gels typically burn out over time and will need replacing at least once or twice a year. Ou color gels are designed to last longer, are cut thicker and can be trimmed to any size with scissors.
